Carnival Procession

Monmouth will be awash with colour, creativity and fun on carnival day! The carnival procession  will include some incredible bands, but is brought to life by participation from our community. The carnival contest is open to entries from individuals and groups of all shapes and sizes, including  families and individuals, schools, youth groups, nurseries, workplaces and any other group you can think of. There are fantastic cash prizes of up to £200 for the winning entry in each category. Entrants need to register on the day in Agincourt Square, outside the Shire Hall from 11.30AM, with the parade leaving at 1PM.

The 2024 carnival theme is "Go Wild!"

Categories:

Individuals and small groups (1-4 people)

Large groups (4+)

Non-motorised vehicles and mobility scooters

Prizes: 

1st place in each category: £200, 2nd place in each category: £100
