Thanks to the National Lottery’s, Big Lottery Fund, this year’s carnival will be bigger, brighter and more fun than ever before

This year Monmouth Carnival is elated to announce that thanks to the National Lottery’s, Big Lottery Fund, this year’s carnival will be bigger, brighter and more fun than ever before.

As a result of this generous support, Monmouth Carnival will be running a workshop to help local groups and individuals make some fantastic new costumes for the procession.

The workshop will be taking place in June, more details will be available nearer the time on the carnival website at MonmouthCarnival.co.uk.

The procession itself will be happening this year on Sunday 8th July, at 2pm. It’ll start from Monnow Bridge and proceed up through Monnow Street to arrive at Monmouth’s Shirehall, where there’ll be stalls, performances and all kinds of other activities.
